First Decree!!!!

 This is the day we have waited for......for 5 1/2 months, we have worried this day would never happen and prayed it would!!!!  Today at 0717 we got a phone call from Trena!  WE HAVE A FIRST DECREE!!!!  Kerrigan is all OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   We are blessed!!
What does this mean now?  We would love to jump on a plane and go get her!  Its all this Momma can do not to jump on a plane NOW!!!  But we only have so much time off of work and  have to be sure we won't have to return to the US before we get Kerrigan's Visa!  Because if my time off work would run out while in Taiwan and before Kerrigan's visa came, I would have to come home without her!   So we will wait until we have our AIT appointment and then decide when we can leave here and GO GET OUR DAUGHTER!!!!
Trena filed our First Decree today!   We now wait for them to mail  our Final Decree!  This could take 10 days-2 weeks!  Hurry up and WAIT!!!!  After we get the Final Decree we can apply for her Visa!  We will then WAIT to be given an appointment and then buy plane tickets!!!
We are so close!!  The wait isn't getting easier....actually maybe harder!  BUT we are at the END and each milestone we pass makes us one day closer to our baby girl!    We are so blessed to be able to be her parents!  We have been very  blessed in this whole process that everything has gone just as expected!  (slower than Momma wanted) but NO glitches!
So today we are smiling!  We are Officially Kerrigan's parents!!!!  She is stuck with us :)

Update!

 Auntie Ashleigh and Auntie Sara are BACK!!  We got a new update today with pictures and videos!!  Ashleigh says that Kerrigan is cautious of strangers!  She won't just smile at anyone! :)  She is all but sitting up alone!  She just hasn't figured out the balance thing yet!!  She is using the walker and is MOBILE!!!  Cheryl says she is starting to army crawl a bit!!!  She is just adorable!!!!!

Court Success!!

 Court was a success!  Trena said it lasted 5 minutes and the Judge was happy!  Birth Family was there and got to see pictures of us, and give Kerrigan some sweet snuggle time!  What a blessing to have such a sweet birth family involved.  We are hoping to meet them when we go to Taiwan!   Now we just wait for the rulings....which will all be fine, we just need the judge to sign the papers!!  Trena said to count on it taking a month so we wont be disappointed if it is that long, we are hopeful it's much sooner! Thank you everyone  for praying for us!  Tonight truly was our "labor"!  The  stress and worry that something would go wrong!  We sit here thousands of miles from our daughter waiting for news all is well!  Thankfully Trena text within 45 minutes to tell it was perfect!  What a blessing that was!  Then she called and tried to wake us up:). She told us all was done  The passport paperwork and all that is needed for AIT is done!! Praise the Lord!

Court Date!!

It's finally here our court day!!!!!!!!!!!!  We've got just over an hour until the magical time!!!  Momma has done much better today than I ever would have thought!  Dayne, Ava and I went to Evansville and Dorm room shopped for Dayne.  We also did a little clothes shopping for the girls! and rode the carosel!  Great day!  Will post news as soon as I have it!!!!!!!  Prayers appreciated!

God always knows what we need...well today I got a card from our postman.  We always give him a Christmas card, but haven't ever gotten mail from him.  Well the card said his New Year's resolution for this year was to pick a family each week that had given him a Christmas card and pray for them.  Said this was OUR week!  WOW!!!  We got that today---Court day!!  And the post man doesn't know we have a court day!!!!  But God knew we needed extra prayers for patience this week!  What a blessing!

Internet Broke and Hormonal Momma!

 Internet broke this weekend!  Daddy called the internet people and they said they couldnt fix it until Friday!  WHAT?????  Our courtdate is Tuesday!!!!!!!!  We need internet and to be able to communicate with TAIWAN!!!!  Momma didn't sleep all night Saturday night worrying about this!!   Called tech support as soon as possible in the morning!  Talked with this sweet young boy on the phone...explained to him our situation.  We have a baby girl in Taiwan, our court date is Tuesday....we have waited 5 MONTHS for this date!  I need to have internet!!!  I was nice....emotional and hormonal, but didn't have to cry!  (I  totally would have :)  This boy starts saying ok, ok Ma'am hold on let me see what we can do.......He is gone a few minutes and then says.....The service tech is on his way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  REALLY?????  Its Sunday and everything!!!!!!!!!!!  WOO HOO!!!    The poor boy on the phone probably didn't have a clue what to do with an emotional expectant Momma!!!  But Im so glad our internet is fixed!!!!

Tears at Walmart!

 Walking through Walmart today and buying some baby sleepers for Miss Kerrigan!   Suddenly Momma was in tears!  Tears of joy!  We are almost DONE!!!  The people at Walmart still looked at me like I was a nut :)

Trying to keep sane...1 week before court!

 One week from tonight is our court date!!!  WE are excited and nervous!  We are so ready to just get'er done!!  Momma is trying to stay sane this week...not an easy task!  Ava and Momma have started packing for our trip!  We have been going through the baby clothes and deciding what goes with us and what we must leave at home!  We've washed and packed bottles and pacifiers!  It's been alot of fun!  A sweet friend Momma works with--Maureen, gave us a ton of clothes this week for Kerrigan!  So Ava and Momma have been going through them and WOW is it fun!!  So we are nesting and preparing for Kerrigan and trying to stay SANE!! :)
