FMLA paperwork!

 Daddy filed all the FMLA paperwork for Momma and Daddy this week!!  How exciting this is to be close enough to fill it out and be READY!!!  And also its amazing Daddy did PAPERWORK!!! :)  We still don't know for sure when we will be going to Taiwan.  We are still hoping for July!!

First Outing with the Dunns!

Dunns are back in Taiwan!!  Tonight Kerrigan got to have an evening out with Mammy Cheryl,  Poppy John, Andrew and Moriah!  They took her to the Spring Concert at the kid's school!  Cheryl said she was a good baby!  Said she played, took a bottle and slept!  We are thrilled that she is getting to spend some time with them!!  What a blessing that she is getting to know them!!

  Tonight was skype night!  Our favorite night!  Ava loves it!  She planned ahead tonight, she has new kittens that she wanted to show Kerrigan.  So Kitty got to skype with us!  It was very cute!
Then our book tonight was "Mr Brown Can Moo"  Wow thats a tough one for Momma to read!  BUT lots of fun for the girls!!  Including Auntie Ashleigh I think!  HA!!

Home Study Success!

Today was huge day for us!  The homestudy is today!!  It's Monday in Taiwan.  Kerrigan's is at 1000 and the birth family is at 130.  This Momma is a nervous wreck!!  I've worried myself sick that someone won't show up or something will go wrong!   This is all happening in the middle of the night here in Illinois!!  No sleep going on here! :)
Trena is amazing!  Im sure I've driven her half crazy asking all the what if's!!  About Midnight I got a text from her that said "It's going great, everyone has shown up that is suppose to! NOW GO TO BED!!"  Amazingly that felt great and WE did go to sleep!! 
When we woke up we had a text that said ALL WENT GREAT!!!!  Praise the Lord!
Now we wait some more...The social worker has 1 month to write the homestudy and then we will be given a court date! 
Today we are ONE HUGE STEP closer to bringing Kerrigan home!!!

Daddy and Dayne go to Louisville!

 Today Daddy and Dayne headed to Louisville for the fingerprint appointment!  This should be the last time any of us have to fingerprint!!  All went smooth!!!  They had a nice lunch at Ri Ra Louisville!  Dayne favorite spot to eat!

Happy Mother's Day

 Today is Mother's Day and Momma got the best gift EVER!!  Picture and Video of our sweet girl!!  She is pretty smart for 4 months old---being able to make that sign :)

Surprise Skype!

Got an email this morning asking us if we want to skype tonight!!  REALLY!!!  OF COURSE!!!  YAY!!  
We decided to start reading Kerrigan a book when we skype--so she is hearing Momma's voice alot of the time we are skyping, PLUS Ava then gets to pick a book she wants to read to her sister!  Tonight we picked one of Ava's all time favorites "Are You My Mother?"  Ava loved it and Kerrigan seemed quite excited too :)

Relax God's got THIS!!

 Well woke up this morning to new pictures and videos!  That makes for a great day!!!  BUT then I got an email from Trena saying the homestudy date for Kerrigan has been moved to May 21st at 1000.  AND the birth family's homestudy is scheduled at His Hands the same day at 130.  THIS is so awesome!!  We now know when the birth family's homestudy is AND it's at His Hands, so they will be sure that everyone shows up for the homestudy as planned :)  
We do know that after the homestudy the social worker has 1 month to write the homestudy! (we can pray she writes faster)  Then the judge will give us a court date within 2 weeks!  THEN the final decree is said to come "quickly"!!  
I have to admit I went to bed a little sad last night!   Everything still seemed so far away!!  And Uncertain!  BUT I need to learn to relax and realize God's got THIS!!  He is working in our favor!  Please keep the prayers coming :)

Progress!

 Tonight we heard from Trena!  We have a date for Kerrigan's home study to be done.  Its May 24th.  That's longer than we had hoped but it is progress!  We then have to wait for the birth family to have their homestudy.....don't know when that is.  But we will sleep tonight knowing God is taking care of things!  Our timing isn't HIS!  But HIS is perfect!  We are now one step closer:)
