Today Keagan, Ava and Momma went to Louisville to get Momma and Keagan's fingerprints redone! Our fingerprints expire July 6, 2012 and we don't want any hold ups so we are redoing them early!! Our scheduled appointment was May 16th, but we really weren't able to go that day! Ava has a field trip and Momma is going too and Keagan has graduation practice. Other people have told us they went early and it wasn't a big deal, so we thought we would try it! We knew we were taking a chance driving 3 hours to go, but prayed it would work! WELL it DID!!! The guy looked at us and said "you drove all the way from Illinois and don't know IF i'm going to do these?" I said well yes we thought we would take a chance and if you wont I guess we drove here for dinner in Louisville! He says "well I'm going to do you a favor and I'm going to do this, BUT the others in your household will have to keep the scheduled appointment." I was thinking HMMMMM will he really know.....Tim and Dayne were planning on going next Monday (they couldn't go with us today---its hard to get 4 adults off work the same time) Maybe I smiled then, because he looked at me and said "I will know if they come. I know your address and I WILL remember and I WILL turn them away!" LOL!! SOOO Tim and Dayne are going to our SCHEDULED appointment on May 16th LOL!!! I will say that the place wasn't busy. The only thing in the waiting room was 50 empty chairs. The ONLY other person there was the fingerprint guy! HA!! Guess we over worked him today! But Im thankful he did me a FAVOR!! We were at the Federal Building a total of 20 minutes! Thats with finding parking, paying for parking, finding our room, getting a lecture from the guy AND actually fingerprinting!! NOW we should be done with fingerprintiing!!!!! That is unless God tells us we are adopting again in the future!! BUT we should be done to get Kerrigan home!!
When we left Keagan had scoped out a Bass Pro Shop that was fairly close! So we headed there!! It was an amazing Bass Pro Shop! Redneck Heaven!! We spent about 2 hours there!! They had waterfalls, aquariums, and FUDGE!!
We then went to Joe's Crab Shack and ate supper by the river!! It was quite yummy and the view was awesome!!!
We had a fun productive day!!! Momma loved spending the day with Keagan and Ava!!
